The woman proprietor is quite blunt and lacks genuine mannor towards the customers, when ordering she will give you the feeling your an inconvenience to her day and rushes you through even when the cafe is not busy with a smug look on her face while commanding her staff around unnecessarily.I personally find this quite rude and it happens every time, I have been there probably many times and still there is never a moment where she may acnowledge your repeated service or ask you how your day is. Its obvious that customers are just money to her and anything else is a hindrance to her day. I would hate to be one of her employees as I dont even want to be her customer being treated that way. I have been here a few times with friends and it was a good experience.Small venue but it was really comfy and had a good atmosphere. Menu was good and reasonably priced. Offered quantity too. You did have to go to the counter to order, but it wasn't far away. It has a cute outdoor area too which I've never been able to sit in as it seems to be popular.I would recommend this place if you are close by, and make sure to google maps parking before you go as I found the area very busy the few times i've visited.
Monday morning breakfast love the whole feel and vibe of this place. Busy all morning service was good but the food was better. Great value for money by far the best we have found yet. My good lady's eyes lit up when her breakfast arrived as did mine the scramble eggs with wilted spinach and chorizo was cooked perfectly and my wife's poached eggs, lemon scented spinach and potato rosti where to die for. Only down point is Duende coffee is better. But highly recommend. 9/10
This place was once popular but it has fallen victim of its own hyped up ego. The service is very poor. The staff are inattentive and not very friendly. You must order and pay at the counter before your meal comes out and if you want another coffee you need to pay as you go. I know this process is common, however, for the high prices you would expect full table service. Food serving size is very good, but the quality is average at best. I have been here a number of times, mostly for coffee (fantastic) and their amazing caked. This time breakfast with friends. The breakfasts are slightly pricey but great. I had the brown rice porridge which was amazing. Indoors can get noisy so I recommend the courtyard if you can get a table as it gets quite busy. No bookings on weekends but we managed to get a good table. Will return.
Met a friend here for afternoon tea. She'd grabbed us a table inside thankfully ascot was horrible outside. Ordered at the counter amid a very tempting range of cakes and slices. We didn't partaobut will next visit!!! I'd had a big lunch and wanted nothing!! Great coffees and service! Love a bottle of water on the table - an really over adking for my glass to be topped up all the time!
Such a cosy, quaint and extremely popular little cafe. And one can certainly see why. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff so friendly from the moment you walk in the door, the food absolutely amazing and the coffee simply superb. Unfortunately you cannot book however there are a number of seats inside and outside. Totally recommend you give this place a try sometime
Brekky at Sayers never disappoints. My only problem is deciding what to have, i love their beans with a poached egg and linseed toast or their amazing scrambled eggs with Italian sausage and spinach. The poached eggs are perfect and I am really fussy about my eggs. To top it off the coffee is perfect. Staff are great and the owner is lovely. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Just what I was looking for, #3 on TA and justified. Nice little cafe off the beaten track, eclectic fresh healthy food, served by a casual, friendly group of young men. I had the leek and potato croquettes with prosciutto, salad, and poached eggs. They've also got newspapers for a lazy read. Really enjoyed it.
