They cheated me with payment,they told me that transaction didn’t go through despite that it showed on my phone, but not yet on my account, then I paid by cash. At home I checked my app again and the payment was in pending transactions . I checked the bills that waiter gave me and there was 40 minutes difference between them!!!I I think he showed me someone else’s transaction telling that it was mine!! It’s not about money because it was only 2 coffees , I hate thieves
As a Portuguese I feel ashamed by the horrible meal we were served at Scalla Caffe. The clams smell very bad and tasted even worse. The pica-pau was like chewing rubber, impossible to eat. When we ask to speak to the responsible the waiter just replied that there were none and after that said that it was on vacations. It 's a shame as the space is beautiful just by the sea in a lovely city that is Viana do Castelo recognized also by its gastronomy.
Nice view... Unfriendly personal: waiter left during ordering because because we were still asking further questions... then not knowing what is on the menu and not focused on the ordering... vinho too old, we complained, waiter went away without feedback... then brought another vine... don't go there! Portugal is normally awesome... this place is not!
The restaurant is very nice and we were greeted by a nice host. We didn’t have a reservation but he was able to accommodate us. Marco was our waiter and he was very nice. The passion fruit Moscow mule was very refreshing and I love that they had vegan options. My friends and I had a really good experience. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Surprised by the mixed reviews for this place. As a foreign traveler I was very welcomed and the staff was very helpful and kind. Food was very delicious! I had sea bass and it was tasty and well cooked. Great view as well. It wasn’t busy so that may have been why so good. But no complaints from me!
This restaurant is placed on the sea shore – the sea smell is just great. The ambience is very agreeable. The waiters and friendly and helpful. The food without being exceptional, is quite good. The prices quite convenient. It’s also possible to go there just for a drink and a dessert Enjoy!
We were a group of 13 for dinner. Beautiful location, extraordinary views. We chose this place because everyone wanted totally different things. All the food was excellent. Servers were nice, attentive and smiled the whole time! Desserts were AMAZING!!! Would definitely recommend!
Excellent location overlooking the sea (the Trip Advisor map is inaccurate). This is a large cafe/restaurant which gets very busy in the evening. Food was in large portions. great crepes! very nice restaurant with wonderful view of the sea. great eating, great service and very reasonable prices. you should definitely try the Oasis crepe.
