We just started going back to this diner a few months ago, after finding out they were under newer management. And after my husband and his friend went and a great dining experience--he suggested we go. The first two times my husband and I were promptly seated and drink orders taken. We had ordered our food when they came back with our drink orders. Both times our meals were great! We even met the new management during their birthday and they shared a slice of cake with all the diners that evening. Absolute sweethearts. Great food,Great place, Great servers, been coming here for breakfast for years but whoever that lady is who’s in charge of the register really needs an attitude adjustment, everything is fine right up until you go up to pay, she makes you feel like coming in is a major inconvenience to her, doesn’t say anything to you not even a “thanks for coming in” or “have a nice day”. It doesn’t bother me that much just when you pay almost 30 dollars for 3 eggs and 4 pieces of bacon and toast x2 a smile goes along way instead of the usual scowl she gives you. I believe there is a race issue here , I have been here twice and both times I had bad experiences, the first time nobody would serve at all and just let me walk out without saying a word. 2nd experience happened today , i had a hard day at work and I showed them my ID and they refused to serve me. They said “you look too young I’m not serving you”. Definitely won’t be going back
