Original Review: I've been visiting this area annually, and this was my first time dining here. The staff were absolutely wonderful! Our breakfast was served quickly, and the pancakes were incredibly delicious. However, I found the eggs, toast, and bacon a bit too greasy for my taste. I always enjoy supporting local establishments like this one. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to return, and this is due to our experience with some of the other customers. There were a few rude individuals while we were waiting outside—I'll skip the details on that. Additionally, the seating felt a bit cramped inside. We were exploring the region when we came upon a great recommendation. This old fashioned country kitchen. We ordered the the three meat breakfast with scrambled eggs and hash browns. Sooo delicious. It was quickly hot and fresh. We also ordered the breakfast special which was a egg and bacon on an Asiago bun. What a delightful breakfast. The waitress was so personable as were the patrons. This is a wonderful family owned restaurant. It is easily accessible from Jamestown with plenty of parking.
Great place! It's small and intimate, and it feels like the staff knows half the patrons by name. They even have a counter where singles can sit. I missed breakfast, but after having lunch, I definitely want to go back. I ordered their special club sandwich, and it was outstanding. I opted not to have chips, but I tried their house-made specialty pickle, which was vibrant and tangy red. Everything was absolutely delicious!
We are on vacation in Chautauqua and happened to drive by this restaurant. I told my partner to stop because it reminded me of the charming mom-and-pop places we love. We were not disappointed! You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients and the food they prepare. The staff was fantastic! great place wait staff are welcoming. their mac n cheese with Italian sausage is over the top. we even took an extra one home after having our meals.
