We have recently completed a three week rail trip around Switzerland, and this has to be the best value restaurant we came across. Their special of two generous pork schnitzels, chips and a medley of vegetables, all beautiful cooked, for CHF18 might sound quite a lot for those not used to Swiss prices but, believe me, most other places we found were charging CHF 30 and more for their main courses. The staff were very friendly and, needless to say, we ate there on each of the three nights we stayed in Kandersteg.
Wir aßen auf der Terrasse zu Mittag, kamen ein paar Tage später zurück und aßen drinnen zu Mittag. Einfach super! Freundlich, effizient und tolles Essen. Fantastische zentrale Lage. Halten Sie bei Ihrem Besuch Ausschau nach der Katze Findus! Bald zurück zum Abendessen, die Speisekarte sieht großartig aus!
We dined here one night whilst on scout camp. Had the pork schnitzel, fries and vegetables. Excellent value for money, great coffee as well. Dined outside which gave us beautiful views up the mountains.
Ausgezeichnetes Essen und Service, Menüs auf Englisch verfügbar, sehr sauber und ordentlich, sehr freundliches Personal, Einrichtungen makellos, nicht das billigste, aber sein Geld wert.
