My friends and I just had an incredibly disappointing experience at Scoops. The place was overwhelmed with bees, making it a serious risk for anyone trying to enjoy their ice cream. The benches were sticky with melted ice cream, and it seemed no one was cleaning them up. Our ice cream started melting immediately after being served, and considering it was only mild weather, there was no reason for it to melt so quickly. The situation with the bees became so unbearable that we had to throw away our cones just to avoid being stung. By the time we considered finishing our ice cream, it had melted beyond recognition. I have to start with the ice cream, which was absolutely delicious, scrumptious, and finger-licking good. However, you might notice my rating is on the lower side. You may be wondering why that is, especially since the ice cream draws in crowds every day. Let me explain. I was served by a little blonde girl with blue eyes, who had an attitude that was off the charts and messed up my order three times. This level of service is simply unacceptable. I was very disappointed with her performance and her inability to meet my ice cream expectations. The ice cream is fantastic, but come on, guys, it's crucial to get the staff situation sorted out.
RUDE and disrespectful workers. Brought my father to get ice cream. We were the final customers in line and after they served the customers ahead of us they shut the window and placed the closed sign up without saying anything to us. My father was immediately disappointed and couldn’t understand why they closed. My father is an injured veteran and has a mental disability due to his time serving so this type of disappointment hit him differently than a typical person. Scoops—please emphasize to your workers the value of communication and respect. This is a business that I refuse to support.
This is a fantastic locally-owned ice cream shop with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. My personal favorite is the soft serve twisted with two types of berries.
