I got there tonight (2/15) 10 minutes before they closed. Waited at the order screen for a couple minutes and yelled out a couple of times. Nobody said anything. Then I drove up to the window and he (the worker) seemed like he was hiding? So he comes to the window and I order a peanut butter power blended drink. He handed it to me and it had no peanut butter color to it but I didn’t trust him to call him out on it to make me another one. He also didn’t hand me a straw but I did ask for that! So here I am drinking my non peanut butter, peanut butter power, writing this review.
The service was quick and friendly. The lovely short-haired blonde barista at the window definitely deserves the 4 Fs: Fast, Friendly, Fantastic, and Fabulous. In addition to being courteous, she was truly a beautiful barista. The caramel blender I had was delicious. I highly recommend stopping by Scooters for your morning coffee—you won’t regret it!
The restaurant is quite expensive, but the food is good overall. However, I wasn't impressed with the acai. I've tried it before in Des Moines and Waukee, but the one in Adel had very little flavor. When I inquired about it, I was told that’s how it’s meant to be. I doubt I’ll order that again in Adel. Food: 5/5.
They are so good to my sister and her kids! She's a regular there because of how awesome they are. If she's needed ice for her breast milk, or extra napkins, they're on it!They also give sides of whipped cream for kids, but are also willing to change anything if you need, i.e. kid wants something different. I was a bit frustrated when I ordered a drink, as their website states that they accept NFC mobile payments. However, when I tried to pay with my phone, they told me they don’t accept that payment method. I suppose it’s only certain locations that don’t offer it? Service: 2/5.
Normally love scooters but we waited in line in the drive thru for 10 minutes behind someone before giving up and leaving.Food: 3/5
