I don't leave any bad reviews. You can check my track record. But this place has the worst service on Earth honestly. Staff really have a F you attitude, and I mean all the time. I didn't care because the pasta used to be top-notch. Something changed later. Here's my theory: I think the business has grown over its Van Aken location and its small number of employees. It's impossible to catch them by phone. If you go personally, sometimes on a pizza or pasta, is it about an hour waiting? that is completely crazy for the casual. And the last few times I ordered the Gnocchi (used to my favorite), it was burned down. I called to complain and they didn't even apologize. That used to be my favorite...
I'm going to the pizza. Absolutely delicious. There are other pizza offers in the area, but they cannot compete. I wished only two things 1) they were on a kind of delivery service. Use two stands in the market district if you need to maintain demand. Whatever you have to do. The area does not have the same quality and you can do it! 2) you can better integrate into the pasta company to offer salads? It would literally be the best!!!
I ordered the mushroom pizza topped with whole, roasted garlic cloves, arugula, and mushrooms. The staff was accommodating of my requests to make it vegan, and even suggested swapping out the cheese for tomato sauce instead of cream sauce. The six-slice, 12-inch pizza was very filling for two of us with big appetites. The pizza was delicious and nicely presented. The dining room had comfortable seating.
I had the fettuccine pasta from Scorpacciata and it was absolutely delicious! The noodles taste as if they were homemade in house and the sauce was tasty and thick. The full serving size was more than enough to leave me satisfied for hours. While $14 may be a bit much to return to Scorpacciata on a regular basis, I will be back! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Amazing pizza! Scorpacciata Pizza Co. is situated in the bustling Shaker Heights Van Aken district, inside the Van Aken Market Hall. I sampled the paprika, margherita (cheese), and kale special pies and they were all delicious. The pizzas had a thin crust and the ingredients were top-notch. I highly recommend this place!
A very good first experience with the exception of the kale in the plate of my wife was too chew and hard. She tortured most of it and informed the owner about the situation, so we see what happens next time. The Gnocchi was amazing!
Love pasta. I tried most articles on their menu and was not disappointed. It fills you quickly. I usually get a pasta order from here and some of the other providers in the hall to share with my daughter and my husband.

I can’t speak about their food, but the tiramisu is incredible! It rivals those you might find in little Italy
