I have been to a great many restaurants in the St. Louis area and I can safely say that The Scottish Arms is one of the very best you can find. Each and every time that I visit I come away more impressed than the last. I The atmosphere is always relaxed, the staff are always delightful, but by far the best feature is the food. Their food stands heads and shoulders above the majority of restaurants in the area. Both in flavor and presentation, their food exceeds what ever you're like to imagine the first time you visit. 5/5 Drinks 5/5 Service 5/5 Food 5/5 Atmosphere The only possible flaw I can imagine is that I always want more of their food, and I can't have it every meal.
Love this place. Always good service, great hearty food, ambiance experience. Been here a couple times since we found it. Rum Toddy will cure what ails ya! Like it so much we got an apartment nearby! Still as good as it gets! If you're near the Central West End or Forrest Park, or downtown STL, you'll have to stop by this establishment for new custom drinks every month new food menus every month, yet, we still get the Scotch egg (take one or 2 home for tomorrow, you'll love it!! Still 5 stars. Oh, yeah, the service is impeccable!! Best in STL!!
If you want Fish and chips this is the place to go in at louis! This is one of the coziest restaurants with a lovely old style vibe to it, I love to go there for dinner a bit before the sun is down, the contrast between the bright sunlight coming from the large windows and the dim light on the dark back of the restaurant makes me feel I’m sitting in one of Toulouse Lautrec paintings! The food is usually really good whatever you get, make sure to try their sides, you won’t regret it!
Dropped in for Sunday brunch. It was easy to put in an online reservation. The coffee and mimosas were great. I got the French toast which was good, and the rest of the table enjoyed their meals as well. The food came out quickly and the servers were friendly. Would definitely come back.

Such great food!! Exquisite cuisine served in a cozy atmosphere. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Both authentic Scottish dishes and tasty culinary creations. Nice patio too. Slightly pricey, but worth every penny. I'll be back
Literally the best salmon I've had thus far. I went hoping they would have steak, but it wasn't on the menu that night. The salmon was an amazing second option. And that bread pudding, omg. That's all I gotta say!
The food was delicious as always, but the portion size was quite small. The service was slow, almost making us late for the show. If you have tickets for a show, make sure to eat by 5pm instead of 5:30pm.
Excellence scotch menu (Started with Glenfiddich 18) and excellent food. I had the Peat-Smoked Chicken for dinner and it was incredible! Highly recommend this restaurant!

I felt like I was in Scottland.The food was excellent and the staff was so friendly! The smoked duck wellington was very tasty! Definitely a 5 star experience.
We have been visiting the Scottish Arms with my family for many years and have always enjoyed the delicious dishes that we have tried.
