The quality of food has declined since I first started coming here. I ordered a loaded poutine and paid extra for Cajun fish. What I received was barely fish. The batter was burnt, and what they want to call “fish” was a very thin slice. How can fish be burnt and soggy at the same time? The fries were not cooked fully, tasted like they were defrosted right in my container. So disappointed.I called them to complain and they gave me an email, which I emailed and never got a response from. The standard of food has really gone down, which is a shame. I will no longer recommend or support this place.
The food was amazing. This is honestly an underrated spot in Scarborough. Got the jerk chicken sandwich, jerk fries and a patty and coco bread. Although the patty and coco bread didn’t hit my expectations (it was still really good) the jerk sandwich literally sent me to heaven. The chicken was tender and it was honestly so good, I don’t like coleslaw but this honestly made me love it. The fries were really good but if I get them next time I’ll shake them a bit more but I could tell it was made with love. This entire spot needs more recognition. Really good and I definitely recommend!!!
This is the 3rd time Ordering from the Scarborough location and their food is amazing every time. Sometimes it's a little spicy for me but it's okay. They're cocoa buns are to die for. I tried the Cajun fish for the 1st time and it was so amazing definitely. We'll try that one again. I am a senior and don't go out much and. This is quickly becoming my favorite take out.Update I just got an order from skip the dishes and SPECIFICALLY asked for mild. 10 minutes later my mouth is still burning.i spent $30 plus and it's inedible. manager at Warden location useless
I visited Scarborough location for first time. The young lady was very helpful in telling me about their menu. I ordered the oxtail bowl with rice and peas, channel, coleslaw and corn salad as the sides. The portion was nice and large. The food tasted great, lots of gravy and the hot sauce and chutney sauce were a lovely addition. Happy I visited and I will be back.Parking: Parking on the side of building before restaurant if traveling southbound on warden.
Every time I visit Canada I get the jerk wings at least 3-4 times throughout my trip. There's not a jerk wing in America that can compete!Only gripes I have are I wish I got more sauce to eat these 12 wings with, I order them extra crispy but normally I have to go home and broil them until perfect, and the time to prepare the wings is a tad long but it's always worth it ?
I’ve not had a tremendous amount of Caribbean food to compare it against but it was unreal, just passing by and thought I’d give it a try… I wasn’t disappointed.Full of flavour, perfectly spiced, good tender/succulent meat (no gristle), all the mix of the rice, coleslaw, chickpea, pineapple and tomatoes just hit the spot with every bite.
Went there for the first, was skeptical of the word Caribbean as most times, food tasteless, but the beef sandwich was was perfect 110% perfect, first have I enjoyed a sandwich as if I was in Jamaica ??. Will certainly take the drive to stop by again, washed down with a ting was just amazing. Thumbs up on this place.
The BBQ chicken bowl was delicious and packed with flavor, but other items such as the goat curry and beef patty did not taste fresh.
Good spot for quick eats that's filling and reasonably priced for the portion size. Lots of sweet tastes to nullify the spiciness.
