I met a few girlfriends here and was surprised at the large seating area and how busy it was. I don't feel like the coffee is better than Starbucks, and Starbucks' service is much better, but if you want to meet friends and have a seat it is a safer choice for space.
It's a Second Cup... but the staff is always very friendly, and it's a convenient, casual spot to meet someone for coffee or get a bit of work done. The coffee is good. I'd give it 5 stars if the baked stuff and food were better, but they're just ok.
Second Cup is a great place to meet friends and chat while enjoying a great cup of coffee. There are many kinds to choose from as well as tea. Home made baked goods are hard to resist and do not disappoint.

Love the Second Cup Lattés! The baristas are the best. Its located in Kings Place therefore very accessible, a great place to people watch too!
Coffee shop is pretty small. Tables at the window are great for people watching on King Street. Coffee was ok, service fast and friendly.
Second cup has to have my favorite hot chocolate of all time. They also make cookies and rice crispy squares which are very good.

Great place to go for a small meeting. Quiet atmosphere and very pleasant. It is rather expensive, but good value I'd say.
