The coffees at Second Cup are always delicious. Anytime I visit Sunnyside Mall, I am tempted to stop at the cafe for a flavourful beverage. My one critique is that the mobile app seems not to be updated with the same information that the baristas receive. My last iced coffee was not made the way the mobile app described. Don't get me wrong, the coffee was still very good, just not prepared how the app read. I discussed the discrepancy with the barista, who was very friendly. She mentioned that the recipe that I showed her on the app is different than what they were told in the cafe. So maybe better communication is needed. In any case, this cafe is worth trying. They just completed renovations on this location, so there is all new equipment, seating, and signage. They have also added on a Slow Bar where you can get pour over coffee. As nothing else has changed staff- or ownership-wise, this location of Second Cup is still the best place on this end of Bedford to get a nice cup of coffee (specialty or otherwise).
On days that I start work later than usual, I always stop here for my coffee and a latte. Awesome staff, they're a pleasure in the mornings. Your chai tea lattes are the best
Second cup has excellent coffee. If I worked within walking distance of one I would buy my coffee there all the time. The staff are always friendly.
Baristas here are friendly and will give you some great recommendations like the blue butterfly with oat milk (SO GOOD!
