This place needs to learn something about service. What about when you come in a waiter or waitress saying hello and just generally making you feel welcome. Perhaps the serving staff could tell diners that you have to go to the counter to order breakfast dishes. As for drinks, you wouldn't think getting two coffees to a table on a pretty quiet Sunday morning could be so hard. We had ordered eggs and toast, had eaten them before one coffee in a take away cup arrived. Pity they didn't send a straw we could have shared it. I can say that the eggs and bread were nice but the service was just plain sloppy. Lift your game owners. The wait staff all seemed so young and too us needed a bit of adult...
My daughter and I enjoyed brunch here today - waffles with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, a side of bacon plus I had the Spicy sausage in delicious sauce of capsicums, eggplant and tomato with a poached egg and thick slices of toast on the side. Both were great. Topped off with Dirty Chai and a shared piece of sticky date cake and we were so full we had to take a walk along Beaufort St. Nice vibe, full of happy customers and efficient polite staff. Recommended.
Waited 25 mins for two take out coffees when queried it was advised they don't make them in order. Asked if they could do them as had waited a while was told yes, two more orders went that arrived after us, mentioned it again and the girl got the manager to refund me. No apology no coffee nothing. Bear in mind not overly busy and five staff milling around not doing much! Never again - ruined my morning!
Went for breakfast Sunday. Good points : juices, and prices very reasonable. Bad points : ordered waffles with chicken and aioli. Quite dry. Aioli didn't come with dish. Asked waiter who said 'they ran out'. Aioli then came out 30 seconds later (ie forgotten on dish and waiter didn't know or care - poor form). Abdul the owner of Secondeli is such a pleasant, friendly accommodateing person. His staff are courteous, prompt and very polite. It is a delight to watch the familiar warm greetings as the regular clientele arrive for their daily hit of his special breakfasts, coffee, cake & lunch meals.
Secondeli is a thriving little cafe. Good menu, good coffee great location. This cafe is a great addition to the area. Add it to your list if favorite places to meet friends, grab breakfast or coffee. The menu is well priced. The service is quick and staff friendly. Loved it.
Been there few times for breakfast, lunch or even just coffees. Coffee is good, breakfast is even better. Already tryed few items on their menu and never been disappointed. Not overpriced too. Staff is also nice and smiling. Recommended !
Dropped in at 2.30, and ordered the crushed avocado on charcoal toast (fresh and zesty) and a sausage and tomato dish that I can't pronounce (tasty). Coffee was the hero, and this would be my local if I lived closer. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
One of my favourite Perth cafes. Lovely decor, fits so well with the character of Mount Lawley. Delicious food and great service with a very friendly atmosphere. Always love visiting - thank you!
