This is a very special place. It's beautiful inside and I love the vintage feel with lovely antique furniture, fireplaces, exposed brick walls, with soft lighting so cosy and feels like a real home from home. The courtyard garden out the back is just beautiful with gorgeous plants and flowers such a peaceful space to sit and enjoy. The staff couldn't be more friendly, welcoming and accommodating and the service is always good. The food is delicious. I love that everything is so fresh no wilted salad leaves here! I had to ask where they get the delicious bread it was so good (Bondgate Bakery in Otley, and they use local butchers too). The prices are reasonable and here you're guaranteed a tas...
The prices are honestly ridiculous for what you get. The Spanish omelette was about £10.50, yet the portion was tiny and tasted like supermarket food rather than something freshly made. At that price, you’d expect a proper homemade omelette and a decent portion size not something that looks like a child’s plate. Salad presented weirdly 2 salad leaves, one small tomato, 2 tiny pieces of pepper and cucumber and one blueberry? Like.. what?? The place is cosy inside, but the food and value really let it down.
Shop-bought bog standard mince pie plus two small coffees £12. Beans on toast £8. Ridiculous prices, it's not exactly fresh, home cooked food. Cold, but after 20 mins they offered to put heating on. Coffee prices on the board are lower than on your bill, so assume that's take out prices. Honestly, there are warmer, more welcoming places locally with delicious freshly cooked food at sensible prices.
Love this cafe with its historical themes and displays, its vintage feel and currently its warm and welcoming festive feel. The staff are all so friendly and the food all locally sourced. It’s been really interesting how they have put events on recently. The Christmas readings evening looked amazing on Facebook and wish I’d been there, but will definitely be revisiting soon. Love it there.

Such a lovely spot. Popped in on the hunt for some scones. Ended up staying for a lovely lunch. The staff are so friendly. A very warm welcome and delicious food. Perfect lunch spot to watch the world go by. We'll be back
Great interior and atmosphere, staff and service absolutely great. Food was good and well presented , the only thing is portions are not big enough for the price in my opinion. Anyway, I enjoyed my lunch.
Me and my friend came a bit ago the milkshakes are very good love the banoffee one also the ice cream is great for the money and the salad was very nice : will come again! :
