As far as traditional restaurants go, this can not be beaten! It is only a small venue but perfectly placed just off the piste for a quick drink or a long meal. We stopped for a drink around lunchtime and ended up having a beautiful...meal. I had a beautiful special of the day comprising of three types of meat in a cream mushroom sauce with home-made pasta and broccoli while my wife had a delicious veal weinershnitzel (excuse the spelling with parsley potatoes and cranberries. Yes, it wasn’t a cheap eat compared to other places but it was lovely to eat an authentic dish that didn’t have chips! The service was excellent and quick. Full marks.
Es war während des **** Kammrennens und sie verkauften uns eine Aqua Panna Wasserflasche zum Mitnehmen. Wir öffneten sie auf dem Weg nach unten und entdeckten, dass der Dichtungsring des Deckels nicht intakt war und das Wasser einen sandigen Geschmack hatte. Sie hatten deutlich gesagt, dass es sich um Wasser handelte. Möglicherweise haben sie 50 Cent an Kosten gespart, indem sie eine alte leere Flasche nachgefüllt haben. Als Restaurant macht man das einfach nicht. Die Leute dürfen nicht für dumm gehalten werden und wie es heißt, bezahlt man zweimal für billige Qualität (dieser Check ist genau das).
it was during the **** comb race, and they sold us to go aqua panna water bottle. we opened it on the way down and discovered that the seal of the cap was not intact, and the water inside had a sandy taste. they had clearly said we were typing water. So, they may have saved 50 cent in cost by refilling an old empty bottle. as a restaurant, you just don't. the people may not be taken for idiots, and as they say, the cheap payment twice (this check is only that).
The Seidlalm restaurant/hutte is a traditional looking building. The food provided is very good and the service is friendly and fast. It is, in fact, a modern restaurant business which knows how to charge for their service. It seems to have a captive audience due...to its location. Located in the middle of the Streif its the perfect place to end a day, very good service and a cozy place. The food is great, they have a new daily each day with traditional austrian food, was excellent and big portions. Should also try...the pulled pork burger, was excellent! Its also cheap compared to other places up on the mountain.
Ein großartiger Ort, um zu verschnaufen. Wir haben auf unserer letzten Skihänge des Tages angehalten, zurück in Kitzbühel und am Hahnenkamm. Die Dame, die uns bedient hat, heißt Lisa und sie ist super. PS: Probieren Sie den Apfelstrudel, er ist hausgemacht!
Found this one when hiking. Like many of the other alm locations. There is a good choice of food and drinks available but there were dearer than the many others we visited. It has a great view of the Kitzbuler Horn.
