My husband and I went here on New Year's Eve and ordered their prix fixe menu which included 3 courses for 125$. We were surprised at how small the portions were considering each course cost $40 . The first course was 4 pieces of sashimi with ginger. the second was a small bowl of pasta with some chunks of lobster and cream sauce, and the third was a 6-8oz piece of white fish with cream sauce and a few chunks of potato. Our bill ended up being 388$ for 6 plates of very tasty, high-quality seafood and 3 cocktails +20% gratuity automatically added to the bill (a 60$ tip! man I wish I automatically made that much money when I waited tables at Applebee's). Perfect date night meal with my husband. Ordered the Gloucester platter to start and the Char as our main dish. The platter was giant-oysters and shrimp were delicious. The lobster, Scallop cerviche and crab salad were amazing and served in giant portions. The char with leeks and pistachio sauce was excellent. Great drinks too. Service was perfect and everyone was super attentive. Will definitely be back to try more options on the menu. Thanks Select Oyster Bar!
The oysters were fresh, the shrimp cocktail, which is rarely a standout anywhere, was absolutely memorable and the octopus was exactly what I hoped it would be. The servers are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend a visit.
dressed lobster was just cool. we had a reservation with opentable, but had to wait a while before the door. but it's not like that. it wasn't so long, so it's in order. I think this place would be much better for drinks, not to eat. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I this place. The cuttlefish appetizer was amaze balls. The wine was great. The oyster bar and servers rocked. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks for the experience.
service was exceptional, eating was exquisite. small place and they pack them in, but it is worth for the extraordinary seafood. really love wine selection!
