Honestly, I was excited after reading the reviews and someone recommending it. I couldn’t be more disappointed. The restaurant was half full, if that and the service was very slow. We had to continuously ask for things like napkins, silverware, refills. It look 30 minutes to get our check after asking. We had to ask for boxes twice and still did not get them. The food was okay, the enchilladas were subpar, but the taco salad was pretty good.a the decor and atmosphere is nice but definitely wouldn't return. Maybe an off day, but this off day was impactful.
I’m not sure what’s happening here anymore. This place used to take pride in their dishes, but tonight the food was oddly inconsistent. The fajitas were excellent, but the queso appetizer was terrible! The service was inattentive—no water or soda refills, and when I asked for shredded cheese to try to salvage the queso, it never arrived. The location has a lot of potential, with good parking, nice outdoor seating, and fun interior decor. However, until they improve their wait staff and food consistency, this place won’t be successful.
Is Nomnomnom an appropriate review term? I 've been here twice it 's incredibly delicious! I was looking for actually authentic Mexican landed here. One of my BFFs who 's family owns/ operates Mexican restaurants elsewhere said this place may be better. Don 't know if you can get a better review than that. The entrees were a little more salty than expected, but so tasty it doesn 't matter. From the chips salsa, to drinks, to Desserts, the did is outstanding. The decor is vibrant beautiful. The staff is accommodating friendly. Enjoy!
This place is truly the best. It's worth the wait to eat because the Mexican-style tacos are incredible. Marlien was our server, and she had fantastic suggestions for what to order. Her frozen blackberry margarita is amazing—definitely a 10/10. The tacos are substantial, and I would actually recommend getting some to go because they hold up really well (and I never say that about tacos).

Our server Ileana at Señor Tequila's of Fairfax was absolutely wonderful—we really enjoyed her service. I highly recommend the al carbon chicken and steak tacos from their menu! We also loved their homemade spicy salsa and tried the churros with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which were incredibly delicious. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be returning!
Easily one of the best and most authentic meals I've ever had. We came for the Esquites, but they were out of corn. I was bummed until I ate my Birria Tacos, WOW! absolutely delicious. Maria and Marlene were our waitresses, and they were phenomenal. Quick and efficient service! One of the best restaurants in all of Fairfax, easily.Food: 5/5
I can’t express how happy I am to have discovered a fantastic Mexican restaurant nearby. The staff is always very friendly to our daughters, and the place is consistently spotless. The only letdown is the queso blanco, but I can overlook that for their amazing salsa. Kid-friendliness: The high chairs here are rarely dirty!
Pretty nice atmosphere with some of the friendliest staff I've met. However, the food was lacking. The paella has no crunch, no socarrat, just burnt food. Tasted like they flash burned it in a pan. The rice did not have much flavor. The other food was good though, especially the guac.Food: 3/5

Food was good. But somehow the bartenders aren’t always behind the bar. It took us a while to get refill and order something. Took us even longer to get bill and pay. Don’t get me wrong the food was tasty. I’m not sure what happened that day but wasn’t a good first impression at all.Food: 5/5
