For our pizza, we chose the Serra’s Pizza Supreme, which included sausage, pepperoni, speck, and mushrooms. I usually avoid ordering pizzas that have green peppers, as I'm not a fan, but since this one didn’t have them, I decided to give it a try. A pleasant surprise was that the mushrooms were sautéed rather than fresh, which I actually enjoy! Though it did take about an hour to get our pizza, it was so delicious that the wait was worth it. I wrote a review but then it asked me to do it again, so idk what happened. If this comes up twice, I’m sorry! My family and I came here for the first time. It was for a birthday party and overall we were a very large group. Aside from our group, the entire restaurant was very busy the entire night. Despite that, it was still a really great experience. The food did take longer than average wait time but that’s to be expected when you have such a large party and giving all the circumstances. It was worth the wait though because the food was so good. I tried the pasta with meat sauce, creamy Italian dinner salad and of course their pizza. It was all so good. The staff worked so hard all night...
Alright, everyone, I've found a new reigning champion of St. Louis-style pizza: Serra’s in Maryland Heights! Wow! I live in St. Charles County and had planned to order from Pirrone’s, but they close at 6 PM. So, I decided to give Serra’s a shot, and it was absolutely amazing! I ordered a large pepperoni and green pepper pizza with Provel cheese, and it was exactly what a St. Louis-style pizza should be! First time ordering from this pizza place, which was recommended by a friend. We ordered three pizzas for take out (Bacon, Pepperoni, Mushroom/Onion/Green Pepper). Pizzas were hot and ready when I arrived for pickup. Very friendly service on the phone and when picking up the pizzas. Great crust and generous toppings, but the sweetness level of the sauce was a bit too much for us...we prefer a more tangy sauce. visit from new york. I wanted to try this place. I have the Chessepizze with the povol cheese (what said it is only available in missouri) and mozzarella cheese. it was so delicious! the combination of sauce and cheese was perfection. I was also told to get the roasted ravioli and it was excellent. for a new yorker to say, pizza is good from the state, no comparison. I was very impressed and satisfied, highly recommended.
This is a large local pizza shop. It's definitely not a place for a quick bite, as we had to wait two hours for our order. The staff seemed very busy, typical of a neighborhood pizza spot. However, the pizza itself was fantastic! I usually don’t pay much attention to my pizza, but this crust was one of the best I've ever had. I’m so glad we were able to get a table when we arrived.
We ordered the zucchini sticks first they smelled and tasted great. The wings looked decent, but there was no crispness to them. The pizza took a while, but when it showed up, it had a great appearance and the edge pieces were nice and crisp, with a good flavor. The center pieces weren't as crunchy as we ordered the cheese mix and got more cheese than we expected.
A Maryland Heights tradition. Family owned and operated. If you want a quick bite, this may not be the place for you. Party of 4. Everyone was very happy with food.Place was packed Friday night at 5:15. Waitress was excellent. Told us up front pizza orders we running at 1 hr. Other items faster.We order pizza and it was worth the wait.We will all return in the future. This is a Mom and Pop place, Enjoy
