We stumbled upon this restaurant while celebrating my friend's birthday. Since it was after work, we decided to start with some drinks from the bar. We wanted to order something we knew we would enjoy, so we appreciated that the menu included a glossary to help us understand the dishes, as it features a fusion of Italian and Asian cuisines. Ultimately, we didn't stay for dinner because we were quite hungry and wanted to be sure we'd have a satisfying meal. The menu was a bit on the pricey side for us to try something new at that moment, but I’m definitely intrigued by the food fusion and plan to return in the future.
I ordered a mango boba cocktail that featured mango popping boba, the mackerel carbonara, and a mousse cake, which I think was pistachio. The pasta had an excellent texture and was cooked to perfection, absolutely al dente. The cake was incredible—I simply couldn’t stop eating it! It had a wonderfully delicate texture and wasn't overly sweet. I also want to give a shout-out to our waiter/bartender, who handled an avalanche of cocktail orders and even made ten espresso martinis at the end. You are the real MVP!
The service from the bartenders, servers and hosts are always so sweet! They are very kind to our dog when we walk by and when we eat. The cocktails are great and always interested in their new seasonal drinks! Recommend this place for anything from a quick drink with a friend and family to a date night with your loved one.
We were looking a unique date night spot with good food and a warm atmosphere, and Sesamo definitely delivered. Absolutely amazing meal! Every dish and drink we had was delicious. Russ our bartender and waiter took the best care of us. The ravioli and Yuzu blossom mock-tail were the highlights. Steak was cooked to perfection. A fabulous evening. Would definitely return!
I attended a private party at this restaurant, and everything was fantastic. The drinks were top-notch, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. I will definitely make it a point to visit regularly whenever I'm in New York.
Fantastic the food options, a mix of Italian and Asian inspirations the food is fresh and the combinations are outstanding and unique. Service is exemplary and the ambiance is cozy bar vibe.
