the legendary restaurant milford, founded in the 1960s, is a wonderful surprise despite its modest and slightly dated appearance. Perhaps this is part of the charm of this place with the choice of seating in a full service bar or more traditional tables and chairs. her hot butter lobster roll is fabulous and possibly the best in new haven county - and the accompanying French pommes and koleslaw also earn accolades. my man and I were here a few times and were never disappointed. very recommended seven seas for an unforgettable experience that is served delicious meals by a competent and friendly waiter. The food at this restaurant was superb and the portions were generous, with some family members even calling it fantastic. The hot lobster roll was delicious, packed with plenty of lobster, and the fried combo platter was expertly prepared with a light breading. The atmosphere was cozy and not too noisy, with just the right amount of people. The waitress provided exceptional service, being both friendly and attentive. The only downside was that parking could be difficult due to limited space.
This place is a wonderful institution! If you are in the mood for a hidden gem with fantastic seafood this is your place. The rustic wood greets you as you're transported back to a dockside bar. Two old men where comparing the chowda to the bisque. I hadthe broiled scrod with crab meat which hit all the marks perfectly. Balanced fish with a crab cake on top had me doing the happydance.

The lobster roll was fantastic. The lobster was fresh and flavorful, and it was served with coleslaw and potato wedges. The portion of lobster was not the biggest, so the potato wedges and coleslaw were key. The prices were a bit high, with a single roll costing $35 and a double roll costing $49 at the time of my visit.
The service at this restaurant is slow and lacks something to be desired. However, all is forgiven when you try their lobster roll. It is so packed with deliciousness that it falls apart, and the portions are generous. The food overall is tasty, but I can't understand why anyone would eat their coleslaw.
A lot of locals raved about this place and their AWESOME Lobster roll. So can only speak on the Lobster roll and chicken tenders. Had better Lobster roll in upstate NY. Chicken tenders were average. Seemed like a good spot to go out at night withfriends for the bar.

a hidden gem. first time on recommendation. had the lobster roll and fried muscheln. absolutely entlicious! and I can't say enough about the fresh homemade coleslaw and tattoo.
