Newton location. Friendly staff but extremely slow. Environment is clean. It took 20 minutes for someone to show up and take our order. When food arrived everything came out one at a time in 3-5 min intervals. Ordered mac cheese, lobster mac cheese the only thing that was seasoned and it was too salty... smh) shrimp bag and chicken tenders. It was cooked well but lacked seasoning. Don't bother ordering a drink with alcohol, stick with a bottle of beer or a glass of wine.
the fried garnel cup was excellent. the garnels were good size, tasteful and juicy. also the accompanying friars were excellent. the snow crumb main course was delicious and the part was plentiful. the sauces were very delicious. optionally added to kartoffels and sausages were excellent. the only complaint that the rating has kept to 5 is that the accompanying optional mais was very strong and hardly bearable. the service was excellent.
We got the seafood boil and it was pretty good! Sauce had a very oily layer but when you really get into the dip and get the seasonings the flavor is really good and bold. The portion was decent. We got an order of sausage which was $5 but we only got 4 bite size pieces which was pretty disappointing. The corn was not big and sweet like some of the other seafood books we’ve had. I went to this place before the pandemic and it was great. yesterday evening and the food quality went drastically. eating was extremely salty. the lobster roll was ordered and it was frozen and old cost. had so much celery and silly. very disappointed. will never go back.
Sea food bags are delish!!!!! Lobster tails shrimp n king crab legs in cajun seasoning absolutely amazing and can't forget the corn on the cob!!!!
