Excellent all-day American breakfast in the heart of Bordeaux. And good AC to boot! The egg toast with bacon and avo-toast are delicious although we north Americans prefer toast to actually be toasted but no one does in France. The pancakes are made fresh to order unlike many other places in Bordeaux. The cappuccinos are made with love. The French toast is to die for. My only complaint was the flat whites are a little too strong and need a little more micro-foamed milk. Be forewarned that all breakfast spots in Bordeaux serve only formule brunch on the weekends so you can’t order a la carte. You have to take the full brunch for 26€pp.
We stopped by for a brunch/lunch while we were in Bordeaux and loved it. The food was fresh and delicious and just what we wanted something light and tasty. The toast dishes were great, and adding a soft poached egg was just the ticket. The yogurt bowl was lovely, and the Mille crepe house made was simply delish. There are also lunch type dishes as well. The owner was friendly and welcoming, and the ambience lovely. We enjoyed visiting with him and learning about his Miami/France connection.
Great little spot just 5 minutes from the most touristy spots of Bordeaux. Thomas and Emily, the owners, are Franco/Americain, super sweet and charming, and have created a warm and inviting space with delicious food and beverages. We stopped in to warm up with a cafe au lait on a rainy, cold February day and we were not disappointed. Everyone in the cafe seemed to really be enjoying the atmosphere and their food. Worth a visit!
Je suis tombé par hasard sur ce coffee shop, rue huguerie, heureux hasard. C'est petit mais costaud. Belle proposition culinaire, carte courte mais maîtrisée. Belle décoration arty. J'ai juste pri un gâteau mille crêpe chocolat, une dinguerie, délicieux. 7 euros. Cool price. Salle propre. Je recommande. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Brunch as good as non-tragramable! everything was fresh and good taste service is fast! small apartment because many people and we are invited to leave the table at noon and half we reserved at 11am, but otherwise I recommend without hesitation!
