it was a hot day so that I ordered a lemon and mint frappe instead of my usual coffee and could not believe my eyes when the barista pulled out a bottle of cottees lemon cordial and mixed it with water and a bit mint! it cost $7 and it didn't taste good at all. I can't believe that they would make such a shortcut, I would have bought two whole bottles of a battery for it. filz is very cut off and will not go back.
This Shenkin has a cozy corner position with just a few chairs against the windows, so best for coffee or snack overlooking the street. The coffee was rich and rough, mostly the way I like it but a strange undercurrent that I’m not sure was...intentional. Could be better for the high prices but still good.

It's not about the coffee or the service or the ambiance which are all good btw. It's about the fact that they have chocolate babka. Decadent, rich, chocolaty, delicious babka. A rarity in Sydney and thankfully, only a few minutes from home. 5 stars. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Shenkin is not a coffee stall, but it's not a coffee shop either, so I settled on coffee house. It's tiny with little seating inside, so most are to go orders. Its great coffee and the staff are awesome too. I really liked it.
best coffee shop in sydney. ordering is delivered quickly and quickly, no matter how busy they are. they are always friendly and offer best customer service. also, really good affordable prices! love this shenkin
terrible. the coffee was okay, but the lid was so poisonous that I couldn't drink it. the sausage roll was disgusting, could only eat the baked. I'm not back.
