I have walked by this restaurant many times before finally deciding to give it a try. The custard was absolutely delicious - it was smooth and creamy. I deducted a star because the monthly feature, the strawberry shortcake, was disappointing. The shortcake was dense and didn't have the fluffy, light texture of a cake. I believe the advertisement mentioned a freshly baked shortcake, but this was more like a small, dense puck. Despite this, I will definitely be returning to try other flavors.
I had to take care of a work errand in Fairview Heights and decided to treat myself to Sheridan's as a reward. I ordered a milkshake with caramel and Heath Bar, as I am a big fan of their custard. I used to frequent their closed Chesterfield location, which is very close to where I live. The shake was delicious and I was able to enjoy it on my way back to work thanks to the extra thick straw provided by the restaurant. I will definitely be returning to Sheridan's in the future.
Delicious. My current top choice is the Caramel Pretzel Crunch Concrete. Every dish I try is consistently good and the staff is always friendly and helpful. As of August 2022, I decided to branch out and try something different, the Mocha Wowieccino. While it didn't become my new favorite, it was quite tasty and a nice option when you're in the mood for a lighter treat.
I would like to give this restaurant 5 stars once again. Their custard is the best in town. However, the issue lies with the inconsistency of the staff. The team working last week prepared our two-item order flawlessly. We went yesterday to try it The ice cream looks wired like rubber and then when we start to eat my daughter found hair inside the ice cream , And i tell them and they change it but the store from inside looks so dirty and fly everywhere
The food was delicious! I felt sorry for the workers as there were only two of them and the restaurant was very busy. They seemed a bit angry though. The service was good and the custard was great!
fresh taste all year round. I love sheridans friendly staff and all theoretical Custard options. you can even take cartons home when you fall in love as I did.
