However, the reviews and the menu looked promising, so I made a reservation a few days in advance. I'm glad I did! Upon arrival, we were greeted by the charming young owner who made us feel welcome and took the time to explain all the menu options, along with a little bit of family history. Shiraz is the best Persian restaurant in New York. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the cocktails were outstanding. Alex provided excellent service—warm, friendly, and professional. The manager, Azu, was also very kind and attentive. I will definitely be returning soon, as I had a wonderful time at Shiraz. Everything was delightful and divine. Thank you all very much for the experience! I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone looking to make their day or evening special. You won't be disappointed!
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with its authentic Persian cuisine, excellent atmosphere, and attentive service. The appetizers were quite substantial, although they could have used a bit more salt. The standout dish was definitely the lamb—it was delicious! As a nice touch, our server offered us complimentary saffron ice cream. I'll definitely be returning for future dinner parties!
