When I got there I noticed that you had to order first nd pay before they take you to a table either inside or outside. I felt pressured to order quickly, I should have stand aside and let others order first. I didn’t enjoy the fact they have very limited dairy free options. Their signature dishes looked so good but for my case not aplicable (contained dairy). The customer service at the order and sitting needs work, a more professional approach instead of an indifferent one. The food at this restaurant was amazing, especially the Shrimp and Grits which were the best I've ever had. However, it is not a full service restaurant as you pay at the beginning and they bring you your food. There is limited indoor seating and the atmosphere is not very cozy or comfortable. Additionally, when we asked for condiments, we were directed to a small bar to get them ourselves. Despite these drawbacks, the delicious food and drinks made up for it all. I will just remember to adjust my tipping next time.
The outdoor seating at this restaurant is pleasant. The Avo Toast with an egg was satisfying, and the Frenchy with fried chicken was excellent. The coffee was decent. Don't forget to try the hot sauce with the Avo Toast, it really added to the dish. It was a nice surprise to find no line on a Sunday morning, especially considering the long lines at other places we passed on State Street on our way here.
Best brunch in Santa Barbara! Talk about leading by example, the owner here is amazing! He was involved in everything, he was passing out menus/taking orders/seating guests. Service was flawless and quick. The food and drinks were exceptional! Best **** Mary I’ve had in Santa Barbara since I’ve moved here. 10/10

Love love love The Shop! This is our goto breakfast spot. I especially love the Lyon salad and the Like A Tiger omelet. The potatoes are amazing and their homemade hot sauce is just perfect. My husband likes the Rolex and the Sando. Quick great service and nice outdoor patio as well.
The service at this restaurant was excellent and the food was delicious. Although I found my dish to be lacking in seasoning, a quick sprinkle of salt from the shaker adjusted it to my liking.
Oh my goodness, our meal was not only visually appealing but also delicious. The coffee was excellent as well! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!
The Rollex and Almond Butter Bread with Banana were so good, we ate here 3 days straight for breakfast last February, and again in June when we were visiting.

This restaurant is average. The food is good and the seating area is nice. However, it doesn't really stand out as unique or exceptional.
Delicious food. Busy but there’s a lot of seating. Highly recommend the chilaquiles and the chicken Caesar wrap
