I did try the short cookies, which were good, and the cake was also excellent. I also enjoyed the bark—it was outstanding. However, given the odd hours, limited choices, and the element of chance, I’m not sure if I would return. The staff mentioned that you can preorder via email, but I would only do that for a larger order, and I wouldn’t risk it for a small one from a place I haven’t tried before. The location is easy to find, and parking is convenient. There is outdoor seating available too. As a professional dancer, I would love to involve children in my reviews, and I think kids would have a good time here. I arrived at 5:20, and although the restaurant closes at 7 and had only been open for two and a half hours, they had just three cupcakes available, all of which were chocolate. Besides quiches, there wasn’t much else to choose from. Feeling a bit guilty about leaving empty-handed, I opted for some cookies, which deserve a nod because they were quite tasty. I’m giving two stars for the cookies and one for the friendly man who was working there. It’s really disappointing to look at the menu and get your hopes up, only to find that nothing you wanted is available. If you're craving cupcakes that aren’t chocolate, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
Cheryl is the top baker around! As a student at UMD, I find myself visiting frequently, especially because the prices are fantastic. The shop offers incredible pastries and has a vibrant community atmosphere that makes you want to return just to chat with the interesting locals. Cheryl prepares everything from scratch, so definitely try the quiche or her award-winning patties. You can also indulge a bit with her homemade ginger beer or a mimosa. Everything she creates is made with love!
Their operating hours are somewhat limited, and some items listed on their website might not always be in stock on any given day (though you can place orders in advance). They mainly operate this way due to being a small business in a small town. It's definitely worth the trip when they're open; it's fantastic to have such a bakery available in our community. I pre-ordered a cupcake for my father's birthday, and oh my gosh, it was the best dessert I have ever had (and I don't usually even like cake). The staff were incredibly sweet and helpful, and the pickup process went really smoothly. I am so grateful to them, and I will definitely come back and order again!
Great and Friendly service. I got 6 cinnamon rolls for a total of $19.50 and they were pretty good and soft but it would be even better with more icing. I also got a brownie for $3.25 and it was good. I would definitely recommend this spot for those who love sweets and pastries.
I order a few cupcakes, they were dry, the taste was ordinary. They didn't have much of a variety, all was chocolate everything. Overly sweet and creasy. Hate to say it as I was looking forward to it. I have stopped here about 3 times always close.
The owner is amazing and friendly. The food is great, since they are a smaller bakery they tend to run out of items throughout the day but everything is made fresh so no complaints. Only downfall is the lack of parking if it's a busy day. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
