After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to a fantastic experience similar to the authentic shaved ice snowballs I used to enjoy at The Castle on Hollins and Hammonds Ferry Road (which has closed since Covid). Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. It felt like I was just paying for a cup of ice. The flavors were lacking, and the ice cream was subpar. I suppose my search for a great shaved ice spot will have to continue.

I suppose my search for the perfect snowball will have to continue.
Great little place right off the highway with over 30 different flavors. Their always adding more but still keep the classics as well. I've been going there for years and always look forward to the weather heating up because I know Shorty's will be opening.
