We have been here for the last 5 years, prior to COVID. With a group of 50+ mild to moderate guys with learning difficultues...always a great value for money event with after dinner disco entertainment. We paid £26, £27 ...a gradual increase but hey? So this year they wanted £45? I managed to get a deal for 60 people to £35 per person. There was no Christmas fare available ie Turkey, Christmas Pudding, mince pies etc...was told it was because of Brexit and COVID. I was also told we would not be permitted to enter the venue without a COVID pass? And it had to be digital. The side bar was cold and boring, not a great start to our family celebration in the executive box. The room was pleasant, but the food was disappointing. The starters were okay, but my turkey main course was a letdown. The roast potatoes and parsnips were rock hard and inedible, likely reheated for too long. The turkey was tasteless and the pig in blankets was unappetizing. It seemed like the meal was cheap frozen food, not freshly cooked. We booked a private room at this restaurant for my husband's 60th birthday, and visited today with a party of 18 people. We were able to decorate the room with balloons and banners. The service from the bar staff to the waiting staff was excellent, very attentive. The food was outstanding and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it - evidenced by all the empty plates. The Sunday lunch was great value and the quality of the food was top-notch. Overall, it was a fantastic afternoon and we all had a great time. Kudos to the staff, we will definitely be returning.
Booked on line and had to pay in full for 40 guests, unfortunately 6 were unable to attend. Attempted to amend booking and was told this was not possible. Been here many times in large groups, booking system is different(booking agent/ terms and conditions) Many emails back and forth still no refund given. Service and food were not up to the normal standard, will definitely not visit again, I felt there was a lack of personal service regarding my complaint and refund request, just a corporate generated response via email. We were greeted at the door, top of the stairs and into the restaurant, such a wonderful welcome from the staff who were very smartly dressed,we had 3 course meal which was beautiful but really couldnt eat it all, the dessert was the best i have ever had, the restaurant overlooked the pitch which was amazing would definitely recommend this well done to all the staff that made our day enjoyable thank you.
Ate here to celebrate my wifes aunties 65th birthday. I have to say it was spot on. The restaurant overlooks the pitch which is great to see and the food was high quality. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and Id like to give a special mention to Hannah who was lovely to our 5 year old daughter and made sure she got the ice cream she wanted. We will be back.
Recently booked 30 of us in for Sunday Lunch to celebrate Husband's 60th birthday. The service was excellent; the food delicious and the staff were very professional and attentive. Sunday Lunch is very good value for money and we will definitely return. And if you're a Wolves fan, the view is perfect!
We had a fantastic experience at Sir Jacks. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. The staff were all very attentive without being overbearing.
