Been going up to South shore to eat their most delicious and fresh Lake Superior trout and whitefish All You Can Eat fish fry, Friday and Saturday, 5 times this summer. 30 minutes away and worth the drive for me. Yum... hit or miss eating outside with flies. Depends if rained recently, but nothing cannot deal with.
Fantastic food! Friendly people! We had the roast beef pesto hoagie and the fish chowder. DELICIOUS! The chowder is homemade for real and doesn’t have that pasty, gluey texture and flavor like most renditions that use too much thickener. Absolutely !!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fresh food with a rotating daily menu makes this place such a gem. I love how they carry local crafts and art as well as cute souvenirs. Make this a stop when coming through the North Woods!
