You definitely need to try the Friday fish fry—it’s not just standard deep-fried whitefish. They offer options for pan-fried fish, including trout, either fried or pan-fried. The fish comes from Halvorsen's, which is also great for smoked trout. The fried Brussels sprouts were fantastic as well; my son, who's 12, declared them the best he’s ever had, so that’s quite a compliment! We visited again this year, and it was definitely worth the drive from Bayfield. PERMANENTLY CLOSED. I visited this restaurant a little over a year ago and had an incredible experience. I even had the chance to share a bottle of wine with the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. I will truly miss this place. Now there's a "for sale" sign out front, and their phone number is disconnected.
Visited years ago when they were in Bayfield and loved it, so were a bit disappointed this time around by atmosphere, service, and quality of food. Cookies we bought were rather dry. Nothing was outstanding about our meals. Pancakes looked amazing walking by, but they were sold out when we ordered.
