Absolutely awful experience. The hamburgers were greasy and poorly made, the chicken was overcooked, and the appetizers were burnt and tasted bitter. The place was noisy and full of smoke, giving off a rough vibe reminiscent of a biker hangout. The pictures do not accurately represent the reality; many patrons were visibly intoxicated. The cleanliness of the food and drinks left much to be desired. There was also very limited seating, making for an uncomfortable atmosphere.
Ignore the fearsome Waffle House next door. This place is a cross between a British pub and neighborhood bar, even has a fake beach playground for children. We shared a very generously loaded nacho appetizer and fully cooked Philly cheese steak for late afternoon lunch. I'm sure the bar is at midnight, but at any time before 8 or 9:00 is good for families who want a great dinner on page 95.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was fantastic, the drinks were nice and cold, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The place was clean and welcoming, making it a great spot to bring your family. I particularly enjoyed the live music on Sundays, and the cold beer was a perfect touch. I would definitely recommend it and plan to visit again soon!
Wow! While we were on our way, we made a stop at exit 68 and discovered Skynards. We didn't expect much, but the food was fresh and absolutely delicious! This is a fantastic little sports bar! The service is excellent, and the bar food is delicious. They have an extensive selection of bottled beers. I always stop here when traveling north or south. Plus, they often have live guitar players in the evenings!
It was a great experience, even better than I had anticipated. I initially wanted the flounder, but the woman suggested I consider something else. She presented it in such a nice way that I ended up ordering the wings instead!
We were seated right away on a Sunday at 5 PM. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was live music both indoors and outdoors. The restaurant offers seating options inside, outside, and in a covered outdoor area.
