I recently visited Smoke Haus after previously trying their loaded nachos, which were amazing. The tacos are a highlight. They’re much larger than what you’d typically find at other spots. Also, they’re cheaper on Tuesdays. I didn’t even know this place was tucked away in the area, and I’m in the neighborhood all the time. This place has got to be one of the worst BBQ place in New York, our order of brisket and pastrami came out on a tray and looked like a friskies cat food commercial except we are not cats and yes it taste how it looks cat food. I never had cat food but I would guess that's how it would taste just terrible cold rough and just tasteless and the drink taste like they use rubbing alcohol to mix it, my wife had some blue coconut drink and I had a rhum punch tasted terrible. The dishes we tried were incredible. I had the porchetta and brisket, along with the coleslaw. The meat was so tender that it practically fell off the fork, and the nachos and shishito peppers were outstanding. Yianni and Joanne provided exceptional service, being both friendly and professional.
I opted for the Paper Airplane cocktail, which was easily one of the best I've had in a long time. Whether you choose to dine in or take out, I highly recommend supporting this local business. You will NOT be disappointed. We plan to return soon and often!

Great food, great drinks, very cool restaurant. I already know I’m going back to try some of the sandwiches and meats I wasn’t able to try my first go around. The brats are to die for. We had a pretty large group and the team here was incredible. We had a great time with our server Gus. He was attentive, funny, and made us feel more than welcome. I can’t wait to get back!! Amazing food and atmosphere. Food was so delicious, tender, and juicy. Bbq sauces on table were great additional to the meal! Will absolutely be back. Drinks were delicious and beautifully presented. I just had a fantastic experience with Ellis Carpet Cleaning at my home in Garden City. They cleaned our upholstered furniture and it made all the difference. The colors are brighter and the fabric looks much fresher. The staff was professional and the service was extremely thorough. Very happy with the results.
