Snack Bar Stop Pestiscos e Mariscos

Our host at our rural stay in Tavira recommended this place. It is wonderful! They have 1/2 portion plates, which allowed us to try many of the traditional Portuguese dishes at a very reasonable price. Our favorite: the cod and chickpea salad, but really each dish was wonderful. A lovely little town, a leisurely lunch, a bottle of Vinho Verde, and this delicious food....it was a great afternoon.

Visited for lunch. There is choice of half portions and full portions on most dishes. The staff were genuinely friendly. The food we were served was of a very good quality. The whelks were really fresh and the octopus in the octopus salad was cooked perfectly. There is plenty of competition in this area this restaurant is amongst the best. Will be returning very soon.

Very good beer and local snacks like shrimp, octopus salad,snails , fish egg salad , pork steak sandwhich, crab claws, etc . Prices are very reasonable and service is good, family run and always smiling, no Wi-Fi or crédit cards, overall a place to stop by .

Very small portions and too expensive for the food. We ordered the clams and got a small portion, maybe 20 clams, that cost 15€. The rest of the food was okay, but the prices are too high for such small portions. Not good value for the money. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Es ist eine tolle Tappabar. Das Personal ist super nett, der offene Wein sehr gut.Wir hatten verschiedene Speisen: Muscheln, Schnecken, Pulposalat. Alles war super und am Ende auch noch preiswert.Es schien authentisch und war wirklich toll.
