i can't even begin to describe how disappointed we are in our visit to Snapper's. We were ready to CELEBRATE. We were ready to have a celebratory dinner with Oysters champagne. Lots of Champagne. It started out great! We got Andre what an amazing human being. We LOVED Andre. However, the oysters we ordered came super fast, but not the Champagne. We starting eating the oysters they were awful. Way too much breading, couldn't even find the oyster in there the very first one I ate was so fishy it made me instantly chuck it in my napkin. It was bad. We have several food allergies, so when traveling those with allergies safety is most important along with variety. This restaurant is very GF friendly, which is not the case for many in this area. It's clean, and the servers and manager are knowledgeable. We presented a list of allergies and they gave options! The salmon was so good, and I'm not normally a rice person but the coconut rice was tasty too. I did have some gluten options (I don't have the allergy) and the fried clams and ahi tuna were really good. We ate here twice because of the safety! The outside was nice and we had a good breeze.
This is a 1 minute walk from the Rumfish Hotel. Pretty much anything you want here will need modified if you are Celiac. The best meal for GF will be the coconut encrusted Mahi Mahi with a Jasmine Rice substitute for the puff pastry potatoes. It might be great with the potatoes also, but I feel like the rice may be a better compliment for it. You wont be disappointed here. The special was lobster/shrimp/scallops and the same puff pastry potato. We subbed the GF asian veggies. Everything about this dish was underwhelming. My wife said she wished we both got the Mahi Mahi.
With every meal side of homemade hummus and sticks with a salad. I want them to bottle their salad dressing. Being from Massachusetts we were dying for seafood. Lobster tail, scallops, shrimp was perfect. Allen is a very extremely versed on the menu and wines. He is such an unbelievable server. He has great suggestions as well as the sweetest personality. Another delightful meal for our group of 3. The Blue Tuna appetizer is always a starter for us. They had Grouper nuggets as an appetizer special and I hope that appears again! The risotto with shrimp and scallops was not only delicious but they creatively inserted the scallops in the u of the shrimp. See the picture! I did the add on lobster tail for my wife's meal. The Asian shrimp bowl was a hit too. Beth was a terrific server!
The wife and I stopped in (2nd visit) during a quick beach getaway. This place is a must for any food lover! I had the snapper special with jasmine rice and shrimp while the wife had the ocean risotto with scallops. Both dishes were absolutely amazing to include our waiter! Snappers will always get our money when we are in town. The menu is small but well worth the visit with great ambiance!!
Everything was amazing! The house salad dressing was expected and delicious. Both dishes were ginormous! Salmon was cooked perfectly and the mahi too. Great flavors. I think I'll eat every night on my vacation and give up experiencing it everywhere else the food was wonderful. The key lime pie was spectacular. The coconut shrimp was good too, but the salad and entrees win the prize.

Did not disappoint! Best meal we have had in a restaurant in long time. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Their house salad dressing was amazing! Our server Bridget was spot on too! We had a great evening with great food and great service!
