I work right around the corner from High St. and have heard great things about Society on High from colleagues, so decided to pay it my first visit for the first time a few weeks ago! While I don't want to say I was disappointed, it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The interior and bar area are very well done, and when we arrived (pretty much exactly at noon the place was fairly empty. I was surprised to see this, but it filled up quickly by the time we were gone, it was bustling (like most restaurants around the Financial District typically are during the lunch hour. 9/9/2022 Hubby use to work on High Street years ago. A while ago while driving pass going to another event S.O.H was packed. Club like. So we decided to head down this day we were celebrating ,and it was dead. Lol But it was opened, so we decided to eat there anyway. The food was good. The service was great. I would say of the ambiance that it needs improvement. The seats as you'll see from the pictures are worn and the tables too from my view stained. But that may not matter to you. Would I eat there again? Yes Happy Eating!
I hosted a work event at Society on High over the holidays and I could not say more positive things about the whole experience! The food drinks are delicious and Andrew was so easy to work with during the planning process, which made everything a lot less stressful. He is also very attentive and made to sure to check on us throughout the night to see if we needed anything. I would highly recommend for your next social outing!
Cute place in a good location. We sat down and had some drinks and it was taco tuesday so we had some barbacoa nachos. The portion size was good but they needed a little seasoning. We ordered the birria tacos but our server forgot to put them in so they took a while. He comped them and packed them up to go which was very nice of him, and the tacos were great! Nice bar. Typical after office atmosphere around 6pm, as you watch in the tv shows (like Suits! . Good vibes, plenty of people talking and laughing. It has a little garden outside, enjoyable on summer days. Good drinks, wide beer offering, several cocktails, etc. We ate tacos, very good, maybe too spicy, but good.
Went on a Thursday night was told it was a little less busy than usual but that was perfect the vibe was super chill and the bartenders were phenomenal, great selection of beers food was delicious will absolutely be back!
I work across the street and visit this restaurant once a week. The service is unmatched even when they are understaffed. Great food and drinks, always a good recommendation!
Service was lacking, although nice, he was spread thin and went 20 mins+ without touching our table. Food and drinks are very good, it was a struggle though.

Attended an event held at this restaurant and was double charged on an automatic Admin fees and automatic tips. They Would not fix when questioned.
