Booked a table outside for a birthday lunch will never go back. It was not busy the wait staff especially the male waiter seemed to have no interest in serving anyone strolled around on a complete go slow oblivious to customers at tables around him waiting to be served. When we did finally get his attention to order some drinks he got the order wrong left my elderly mother in law sitting in the sun with no drink not even any water on the table. It was a very hot day one half of the table of ten was completely in the sun. When we asked if we could have the umbrella moved slightly so the table was out of the sun we were told “no sorry we can’t move the umbrellas” but no offer to move the table...
I recently visited this restaurant, despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The service was poor, with some staff looking unkempt and indifferent. We had to request water, cutlery, and napkins, and waited a long time for our non-alcoholic drinks. Our entrees were satisfactory, but only one of our main course dishes arrived, and it was not hot. When we inquired about the missing dish, no one seemed to know about it. Despite our complaints, a replacement was brought out and promptly sent back due to poor quality. Very hit and miss today. I went with my boys for a Thursday night dinner. 3 meals ordered. Small pizza was great. Cabanaro Fettuccine tasted great expect that we found a large piece of shrimp in the dish. The meat grill platter was terrible. Porterhouse steak overcooked and bland. Lamb shank dry and bland. Pork ribs overcooked and bland. Checken skewers overcooked. The bacon and chips were nice. The garlic butter sauce was not a sauce but slices of garlic butter. If the food was hit enough I might have been able to melt it on the steak but no luck. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I had no complaints at all. The cocktails were also excellent. The staff was very friendly and provided great service. An added bonus was the short wait time to be seated. Overall, I highly recommend Sofias. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
in comparison to its former glory runs a bit down. Eating is acceptable, but not fantastic. the personal is still friendly and helpful, which is beautiful. wants to see a bit more flair in the aromen, but I guess they have to meet everyone.
Nice enough take away food but not a fan of waiting 15 mins for chips and than being informed “whoops we didn’t pass order on to cook”.. happened to a number of people in waiting line as well
burger was amazing, they have to say that there was a friendly little deaf around wondering around. I don't know how I feel about this haha. a pretty good place to eat out!
