First time customer Service was nothing splendid just your normal “how can I help you” Atmosphere not very welcoming to want customers to eat there. They don’t even ask if it’s for dine in or to go. They automatically gave all customers their orders to go. My experience: I decided on the menudo but was disappointed on the portion size for the price of $12 I was expecting bigger. Menudo is served to go given to you in a 16 ounce container that’s a bit less than a $1/oz. To put a bit more context a soda bottle is 20 oz. I also received two flour tortillas but was expecting corn but was not given the option to select. On the side it comes with onions that are overly diced that look like sticky...
The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The tortillas tasted fresh, salsa is good. These tacos used to be amazing 10 years ago, but now any taco with potato is soggy. Hardly any eggs and mostly filled with mashed potatoes. The bean and egg taco also had any barely any egg at all, and it tastes like the beans are cooked in grease. Also not very vegetarian friendly. The cheese enchiladas have meat in the queso, but if you specify no meat, they should be able to accommodate. Good place for meat eaters.
I took my aged father back to Soliz Casa de Tacos for breakfast. We enjoyed the Soliz special. My father brought me here when I was a young boy , now I am 46 years old. The food is the same -excellent!! The atmosphere was a little slow , but the service was and still is excellent!! When I'm in Stafford and pass by my eyes, always look to this small taco shop . They hold my cherished memories and greatest tacos . I brought my daughter here. I will always recommend Soliz Casa de Tacos.
I'm not sure what people find great or cheap about this restaurant. I read about it being a good spot for affordable meals, but it didn't live up to that expectation. I ordered the combination plate for $14, although their own website lists it at $12. The plate includes one crispy taco, one tostada, one cheese quesadilla, and guacamole, all made with ground beef. Been coming here for 15 years. Everyone knows Soliz tacos. Everyone loves them. Everyone there is like family. My only wish is if they could be open 24/7! Because I always crave them Thank you all for the amazing dedication, hard work and love for serving all of these generations and more to come
The breakfast tacos here are so good and juicy! The eggs are perfectly scrambled and are not overly cooked like other taco places. While eating the taco, the juiciness will ooze out (which is a great thing, trust me! The guys there are always helpful and kind.
Good spot. Quick and friendly service. Just be patient, it does get full sometimes. About 10-20 parking spots.
