I have been buying fish and chips here for a very long time and never been disappointed.The staff here are very service orientated and so quick too. The seafood here is absolutely top class and the chips are so tasty and clean. Greek salad here is excellent crisp and fresh.It has a few seats inside and outside sometimes you wont be able to seat as it can get really busy around lunchtimes. Its so reasonably priced too for the quality.If you live in the area don't bother with the rest around Mortdale, Sth Hurstville, Oatley as I have tried them all. Something Fishy is a level above the rest in the area.
I love having Something Fishy in my suburb. I often pick up fish from there on my way home from work. The seafood is always fresh and well cooked. The staff is always friendly, efficient and happy. They were all especially amazing on Good Friday when it was non stop all day and they still maintained their good humour and friendliness.
Fresh ingredients in the burgers. Fish burger average for a fish and chip shop. Beef burger ok. Burger bun texture is a little airy which seems toasted. Kinda like a milk bun. Chips not oily with salt. You need to request for chicken salt and they don't put much on. Plenty of seats on the inside and outside.
The food is always good here. The orders are prepared quickly and efficiently and the staff are friendly. Everyone here cares about what they are cooking and serving, like it was being made at home. Also try the hamburgers. they are non-greasy and packed with ingredients.

Friendly staff and service with a smile.. but it does get really busy.. so I would recommend calling an order in before you arrive. Dieters pack - grilled fish, calamari and Greek salad is my fave.

This fish and chip shop is awesome - it never lets you down. Good food, friendly old fashioned service. It gets very busy on the weekend but they churn through the orders fast.
The food here is always fresh and the taste can't be beaten, the staff are always friendly, has been my local fish shop for 6 years and no one else can compete

Our usual order is grilled barramundi with chips and it is always delicious. We've also tried the battered fish and chicken burgers and the quality is great.
I have been going to something fishy for years. Food is always fresh and good selection of choices. Service is great.
