Sonny's Pizza Bistro

The first time you will experience the food in Sonny’s. It will definitely not be the last. My waitress Colee was amazing!! The red sauce was a top notch. Chicken DeBurgo was the hands down what I had. I loved the creamy garlic sauce!! Chicken Fatuccine Alfredo was fantastic. The meatballs are delicious. The chocolate covered raspberry martini is a must try!!! If you love raspberry drinks, you will not be disappointed. Sonny's is definitely a hidden jewel in the Ankeny/Des Moines area for food. Cosy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Fantastic. I recommend everyone to try this place.

I bought a pizza delivery bag so I can take the ride and have hot pizza. Sonny's fire. We have tried many pizza places in the DSM area and this is my personal favorite. Everything cries fresh and homemade, and their special pizzas are delicious, while some beautiful deviations from the standard emission pizzas. Very recommended. The food is also fantastic and the terrace is also great!

Absolutely amazing!! The have some of the best pizza in town. Not to mention amazing P.O.P. S, soup, and bread. I am always pleased when i come here. It’s a regular date night place for me and my boyfriend! They also have the bomb drinks and amazing service. I love this place and highly recommend coming. You get a lot of bang for your buck as well!

If you did not try their Red Sauce –-DO IT! Some of the best sandwiches in town! Italian beef is my lunch! For dinner, the Nabeby and I love sharing a pizza and some wine! We're so elegant. Owner Johnny Quincy Vacco are what my family calls “good people”. Skip the chain restaurants support Amazing local spots!

Her pizza is an excellent thin crust. It had the best tie, boiled for perfection. The Chicken Romano was also really delicious.
