Sophie's Bistro In East Frankl

My first time trying Sophie's Bistro. It definitely won't be my last. What can I say, you get what you pay for, and dining here is well worth it. From the moment you walk in you feel right at home. The service and menu selection is amazing. The decor is inviting and cozy. The food is perfection, be prepared to clean your plate. The owner came over to introduce himself and to make sure the dining experience and the food was what we expected. I highly recommend dining here, once you do, you will want to go back to try all of the other delicious entrees.

There were some great items like the Salmon with Tarragon Sauce, but also a few duds like the Trout. The salad was great, as was the French Bread. The dessert crepes looked great, but surprisingly crunchy rather than soft. Our server was great. The old world ambiance with the paintings and posters on the wall, classic furniture, and beautiful wood bar was memorable. We will be back.

Excellent French cuisine. Better than Verve. Peter is a great host making every guest feel right at home. Escargot, duck, Coq au Vin are superb. Best onion soup I ever had.
