This could be a great cafe because the food is very good, however a few things let it down which is a real shame:- even if you dine there they serve fruit juice in takeaway plastic cups! So bad and unnecessary for the environment! When we spoke politely to management about it he was unapologetic, loud, defensive in his response and said it was for economic reasons. - it's overpriced. $76 for bacon, tomatoes and eggs on 1 piece of toast, 2 coffees and 2 juices!- decaf coffee is disgusting. - like another reviewer has mentioned they don't greet you at the door and you sort of find your own way. I think for these reasons I'll stick to other cafes in the area like Eighty Ate or Jagos from now on...
My husband and I had breakfast at this trendy cafe on Australia Day. The service was efficient, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere happy!My husband had 'The Hangover Cure' not because he had a hangover but it sounded very tasty. He wasn't disappointed. The Panini roll was full of bacon/spicy pancetta and egg with delicious house made sauce.I chose the 'Sotto Super Food and Acai Energy Bowl which had Acai energy, paleo granola,raw peanut butter,cacao nibs, banana, coconut chips, goji and berries. All this for $17.50 and it was so good I was sorry when I had finished!The coffee was excellent.We stay near this cafe often when visiting Sydney so we shall be back.
Three of us came here on a Sunday morning for a brunch after cycling. Wow its pretentious and over priced. Just call bacon and eggs what it is and charge accordingly. I had an eggs benedict equivalent and the sauce was straight out of a bottle, sticky and thick. Look it's fine if you could cut the price by a third - ordinary prices for ordinary food. The staff were pretty nice though. I had dined here about two years go and their breakfasts were truly different and worth the premium but not any more.
Its a busy little restaurant at weekends.Great fresh juices, good coffee and a varied menu.Make sure the waitress understands exactly what you want though, some of the staff are inexperiencedFritters with Bacon,and eggs anyway with Hhaloumi was popular with our crew and we ordered the side of sausage and braised meat , but didn't get it. We were staying at Rydges North Sydney and were disappointed with their Buffett breakfast, so we ventured out and found this lovely little cafe. Very friendly service. Nice light meals for breakfast, great coffee and fresh juices. Catered for kids with kids milkshakes. Would definatly come here again when we stay in Sydney.
I have just had a great breakfast at this cafe. The food was lovely, well presented and reasonably priced. I should have ordered a large coffee because the cup was small so had to end up ordering another one. However, a great breakfast with fresh produce and two coffees for under $20 was pretty good I thought.
This is def my favourite corner of North Sydney, location is lovely, sun bathed and peaceful. Staff is always happy and friendly, coffee is superb and food gets same rate surely, overall the menu is creative, nutritious and very tasty, not your boring cafe food.
Really really enjoyed my breakfast. Nice coffee but recommend a large as the regular is really quite small. Staff quite pleasant and helpful, they were really busy was a bit of a wait but we enjoyed the atmosphere Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Came here on Saturday and loved it: brunch outside in the shade, tasty coffee and scrumptious pumpkin and corn fritters with avocado and eggs. Love the vibe of this place! Will be coming back.
