What can I say? It’s just a bar. To be honest, the bars in this area may simply not be my scene. The music was incredibly loud—so loud that I couldn’t even hear the person I was with, who was practically yelling at me. When I tried to order a drink, there was a long wait, and it wasn’t because they were busy. The staff at the two bars inside seemed to overlook me entirely. When I went back to the DJ area to try ordering again, I faced another unnecessary delay. When I finally got my drink, it felt like I was a burden to them. To top it off, I’m not sure if the beer was bad or if the unpleasantness of the experience had just left a sour taste in my mouth. I’m usually not one to file complaint...
We had never visited this Miami themed building before. We always assumed it wouldn 't be good.We finally went and it was actually not bad. I had a chicken club sandwich with fries. It came with so many fries that even after I was full, it looked like I hadn 't touched them.It 's an interesting place. They have slot machines in the bar area and what looked like a few regulars. The wait staff were excited to see us in a way that made me think they normally just get the same crowd.It looks like the place is split into two with different vibes on each side of the building. Despite the atmosphere, I found the bartenders to be fantastic. Our drinks were served promptly, and overall, the service was excellent. However, I wouldn't recommend this bar for a first date or business meeting. It feels more suitable for a casual hangout with friends if you were a local. Personally, I'm not usually a fan of dive bars, but I could see myself returning with a buddy if I lived nearby. My father-in-law joined me during this visit; he suggested we stop in while we were exploring the area. He’s in his early 60s and didn’t quite feel at ease in that environment.
The staff is very attentive, and the owner is actively involved, working just as hard as his team. There’s always something fun to do during your visit, from darts and video games to cornhole. I also noticed a thoughtful initiative in the ladies' room, where they've introduced a "Rainbow-Shot" that customers can order to discreetly signal staff if they feel uncomfortable or are being harassed. I was brought here and I didn't know what to expect, but I really liked it. You can pay money and add songs to the jukebox. I had a steak and shrimp quadilla and it was really good. I would like to visit in summer because there is a terrace. The owner was really cool and everyone had a cool mood. There are TVs if you want to see games and several bars. I just don't drink so I couldn't get anything, but my friend was a lil lit.
South Beach is a unique local gathering place, that has an exceptional staff(the same staff has been there for a long long time, this says volumes of how this place is run), and has loyal repeat clients. I am one of them. They have a unique blend of food choice's from a limited breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you have not been to this local gem, go check it out.
I think we've found our new favorite local bar. The drinks are delicious. And the food is great, we got the nachos and quesadilla, both were delicious. The staff was super attention and friendly. The music they played was fun and it was a very inviting environment. A perfect place for a casual evening out with friends.
