The chicken biryani was simply exceptional. As soon as I opened the container, the rich aroma of spices wafted through the air. The rice was perfectly cooked—fluffy and with each grain distinct from the others. The chicken itself was tender and juicy, marinated beautifully in a mixture of flavorful spices. I visited this restaurant for the first time while heading to a movie, and I absolutely loved the food! The butter chicken and butter naan were outstanding—delicious and fresh. We also tried the Southern Spice special chicken biryani and the Ulavacharu mutton biryani. I particularly enjoyed the Southern Spice special chicken biryani; the chicken was crispy, and the biryani was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. The raitha and salan complemented the biryani beautifully. As for the Ulavacharu mutton biryani, it wasn't my choice, but my friends really enjoyed it. By the end of the meal, we were already planning our next visit for the Thursday special unlimited dosa buffet!
I had a powerful craving for some delicious biryani, so I decided to order from Southern Spice. After reading through the reviews, I opted for the Dilkhush chicken biryani, and it was simply fantastic! From the very first bite, I felt like I was in heaven. I also tried the SSSpecial Chicken Curry, which was just as delightful. I will definitely be coming back more often. I highly recommend you give it a try!
I've dined here a few times, and I would say the food ranges from average to good. I haven't had a bad experience, at least not for me. Their mandi is available, and the chicken mandi is quite good. Just make sure to check if they have mandi available on the day you visit, as it's not offered every day. Overall, I would recommend this place for a meal.

Had Ordered Goby Manchurian and a Paneer Sub Looking Sandwich but with Naan instead of Bread (Indians will understand this) (look for Picture for exact details) Goby Manchurian was crispy and Nice and oh man only 1 Paneer Roll Sub was quite enough forme to fill the stomach. You should definitely try those two.
Southern Spice stands out as one of the top restaurants in the U.S. The food is consistently fresh and absolutely delicious. I’ve been several times, and the quality never disappoints. The biryani is exceptional, and the service is excellent. Honestly, every dish on the menu is a treat!
I called the restaurant and specifically asked for a mild dish, but it arrived extremely spicy and was inedible. On top of that, there was very little chicken compared to the large portion of rice, and the chicken was undercooked. This really spoiled our evening. I’m sorry to say this.
Very good Indian food. The dosas hit the spot. Aloo Gobi was super flavorful, and their specialty chicken curry was mouthwatering. Portions were enough for two meals!
