We recently had our sons christening at Spanish Tavern of Mountainside and one word to describe it: amazing ! The food, service, attention to detail, availability for decor setup. Everything. Planning was simple and easy from the beginning thanks to Monica and Isaias. They made sure we saw everything through so that the party was exactly how we wanted. The amount of food and delicious drinks available in the party package was out of this world. Everyone is still talking about it a week later. The sangria was a 10/10 for everyone ! Can’t wait to have another event there and go back for dinner with the family.
Went to Spanish Tavern based off of my friends recommendation. Took my mother and mother in law here for Mothers Day this past Sunday and we all had a great time. Service was great, super friendly and very attentive! Enjoyed the Food! We had the salmon, paella, steak and veal. Drinks were delicious from the wine to our cocktails! The dessert we had was the perfect way to end our dinner! We had the Tiramisu, Dulce De Leche Cheesecake and the Lemon Sorbet. Our mothers were very happy and satisfied celebrating their special day ... and so were we! We will definitely be back.
Great service and great food. Hector was our server and took great care of us. The pace was nice and unrushed which allowed us to enjoy the food and conversation. The octopus and garlic shrimp appetizer were great and we had the filet and surf and turf which we would also recommend. The entrance was hard to see in the traffic and the staff in the outside section weren’t very helpful in pointing out where to enter the restaurant. The staff was busy talking with each other instead of paying attention to the customers which wasn’t the best first impression.
First Time ever !!!!!! We will come again !!! The Food was amazing …… The entries were very flavored and tasty !! The Estrella Galicia very refreshing beer ; especially for summer weather !!!!!! If you had an issue with any dish; please ask your waitress; don’t just leave a bad comment because a napkin was missing from the table or because the water was not so cool

Great food whenever! Is that what you’re looking for? This place has the freshest seafood in the area, they also serve perfect meats as well, enough sophistication with a touch of homey. I highly recommend this place!
Great as usual. Had the fillet, which was very tender grilled to perfection. Start with the garlic shrimp. You won't be disappointed.
Lovely service for ok food. The fried food tasted like old oil that everything is cooked in. The Short Ribs were flavorful.
Serves authentic Spanish food, the people in our party enjoyed the food. Some did wish the food was more spicy or zesty.
