My wife ordered the walleye with brined red potatoes, while I had a fillet with tempura shrimp. Let's start with the positives: the Caesar salads and presentation of both meals were impressive. The green beans and carrots on my plate were cooked perfectly, and the garlic mashed potatoes and tempura shrimp were crunchy and well-seasoned. However, there were some negatives as well. My wife's fish seemed off, possibly old or frozen, and her potatoes were over-seasoned with Bay Seasoning, making them inedible. My fillet was overly smoked and also couldn't be finished. When we asked our waitress about the smoker, she claimed they didn't have one, leading us to believe liquid smoke was used. Overa...
I really wanted to love it this venue but unfortunately it wasn 't meant to be this time. They aren 't completely hooked up to 'Open Table ' yet but they did get us in. To keep it short.. stay away from the Oysters and the portions are tiny. For the two of us our bill with tip was $127... and left hungry. We went across the street and got apps at Green Mill afterward . No worries we know what to expect next time. They really tried but it 's severely dated and overpriced.
Lovely little restaurant. We were looking for a romantic and cozy location. We found it her. The service was good but a little dissatisfied with the food. I ordered the walleye it was decent and baked just right. The sides were very small and it hardly looked like anything was on my plate.. mashed potatoes and beans. Husband got the seafood pot and it was mostly broth with some very small mussels. We would be willing to give it another shot.
This restaurant is one on the best in Northern Minnesota. It was great. We had the Thursday date night special. A bottle of wine, shared appetizer, soup or salad, entre, and shared dessert for $50. A great deal. Highly recommended! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very friendly and accommodating. Staff we've never met spoke to us like we were friends, our food came perfectly done and at the right time, I never waited for a a drink and it was busy on Valentines!
One of my favorite places to go when I'm in Bemidji... happy hour is always super fun and the staff are very sweet and helpful
I wish the salad given with an entree' were a bit more substantial; really stingy with the greens.
