Being born and raised in Brooklyn, I grew up eating some of the best pizza in New York (both American style and authentic Italian pizza). It has spoiled me and made me very critical of what passes at many restaurants, and in my time as a Long Island resident, I've only found a very few places that can serve a slice up to my standards. Spasso's is one of them. They've never let me down, consistently delivering a properly cooked, flavorful pie. When asked, I've also sent a few friends their way, and I always end up getting thanked for my recommendation. Just be aware that it's pick up or delivery only, as they have no seating for on-premises dining.
I typically only order from Spassos because the food is always incredible. However, tonight I decided to try the penne with broccoli, extra garlic, and oil, but unfortunately the dish was overwhelmingly oily. I had to use a slotted spoon just to separate the broccoli, garlic, and pasta from the excess oil. It's disappointing to say that this is the first time I've had to throw away a meal from this restaurant.
We had some wonderful Pizza at the Lindenhurst Moose Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The delivery service was excellent, and the lunch we had was top-notch. We would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5. Thank you for a great experience!
My Son and friend's have been going there recently....said food is really good along with the portion size and the people that run it are nice and appreciative of your business, And, they deliver too!! Can't wait to try it, I've already selected my menu items

I have been searching for a great Philly Cheesesteak and I finally found it here! The bread was delicious, the steak was amazing, and the garlic knots were also very good. The service was great and it was a delivery for dinner.

On special occasions or for my kids' birthdays, they always request Spasso's penne alla vodka. The food is delicious! Rating: 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere.
