Easy to pass by as it is down a hallway and down some stairs. Nice atmosphere. We had grilled sausage with sauerkraut very quiet able to have conversation. Food was good and reasonably priced. Can pay with cash or credit. Menu is is4 different languages which is helpful with a limited German. Staff kind and helpful. Glad we stopped for lunch.
The food was authentic Bavarian fare, the beer was Franziskaner Dunkle which is an excellent Munich Hefe Weitzen. The staff were friendly who spoke English, they were very attentive. During a six day visit at the Christmas Markets in Munich we ate there three times, never disappointed.
Ich hatte natürlich die Spätzle... es gab noch etwas Vegetarisches auf der Speisekarte, das interessant klang, aber ich fühlte mich nicht abenteuerlustig. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, was mein Mann hatte, aber ich habe Fotos gemacht und wir haben jeden Bissen gegessen!
Ich habe zu Abend im diesem Restaurant gegessen und habe Jägerschnitzel mit Spätzli bestellt. Es war gut, das Fleisch war saftig, aber nicht sehr zart. Das Restaurant war ruhig, der Service war gut und die Preise waren niedrig.
