We have dined at this restaurant several times recently and the food is simply delicious. Every dish is made with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. Our children particularly enjoy the stir-fried basil chicken, bbq chicken with sweet chili sauce, and the satay. We also ordered the tempura fish fillet with vegetables cooked in a spicy sauce, which was amazing. The fish was fresh and sweet, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly (still crunchy). The green curry is another favorite with its rich, creamy sauce. The atmosphere is very relaxed, unlike some other Thai restaurants in the area, and most importantly, it is child-friendly. We had a wonderful dining experience here.
I absolutely adore the ambiance of this restaurant and the staff is incredibly helpful. The food is cooked fresh and the aromas are amazing! It's BYO, so you can grab drinks next door at BWS. This is definitely one of the top places to eat in Kirribilli and it's only a 4-minute walk from the Ferry or Train station. Don't pass up on this experience!
Three years ago, I visited the Sydney location and was not impressed with the service. However, I have been to the Crown Casino location in Melbourne five times for yum cha and have found the food to be delicious. While the service could use some improvement, I highly recommend visiting for a yum cha lunch as the food is fantastic.
We really enjoyed our meal at this small eatery. There were few people there and the service was friendly quick, which suited us as we were en route. We had the rice paper rolls, a yellow curry with turmeric crispy perch with chili ginger...all good.
