I'm sure the hotel is a lovely place to stay, it looked nice. And I'm sure the food is lovely too. However why still advertise on your website that you do lunches between when actually you don't? We can understand why establishments don't as there isn't the demand in the winter. But it's quite annoying when you alter your plans to support businesses on the island and we missed out on having a nice lunch. We live in Dunvegan and was heading to the south of the island to the gin and whisky shop. We was initially going to head to Oban for the rest of the day and to have lunch. But we then thought why not go to the shop a little later and support an island business and go for lunch to the Broadf...
After a tiring day, we chose to dine at the hotel restaurant. I was disappointed by the menu, as it leaned towards the pretentious side and didn't offer options for the typical diner. Despite this, the food was of good quality, though I did encounter a tough steak. On the second night, we opted to eat elsewhere. Breakfast was satisfactory, but I had to specifically request a fried egg instead of scrambled or poached.
We had a party of in for a family dinner. The service and quality of food was superb and very good value given the quality. Staff were all wearing masks and adhering to Covid protocols, there was lots of space around the tables, rest rooms were very clean and tidy. An all round excellent experience. We will definitely return when we are next in Skye.
We were unable to have lunch at this restaurant, as we found it difficult to find a place open for lunch. Despite the website stating that they serve lunch and having a lunch menu, and the sign outside the building indicating lunch hours from 12-2, when we entered and inquired about lunch service, we were told that they were not open for lunch.

This restaurant, located at the Broadford Hotel, provided us with a fantastic breakfast experience. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the window, the delicious food, and the friendly service. The owner even took the time to chat with all the guests, adding a personal touch to our visit.
We were really surprised about the excellent service, hygiene, food and the hospitality. The hotel is very cozy. The manager Michelle, was amazing she nicely welcomed my whole family and we will definitely come back! Also the hotel is pet friendly which is amazing.
I had the Thai style starter and the steak pie. The starter lacked depth of flavour however, the steak pie had tender meat with well cooked vegetable. We ate with friends and the simple dishes (pie, fish) proved the more popular.
For convenience, I ate where I was staying to avoid the rain. I wish I hadn't. It wasn't bad, just average. There are better choices in the area. Even the breakfast served to guests was mediocre.

Great hotel in a great place. Just mins drive from Elgol which is so scenic and a must for any visitors. Staff where great here too and lovely food.
Nice bar at the hotel. Not a guest at the hotel but good drinks. No food at lunchtime though
